Trade Fairs Brno controls about 60% of the Czech exhibition market; every year, the company organizes approximately 40 events. Every trade fair reflects its field. This year, the number of visitors of the Brno Exhibition Center has reached about 1 million; last years figures were similar. The most successful event was the International Engineering Fair (MSV), attended by about 100,000 visitors and over 2,000 exhibiting companies. Next year, the Brno Exhibition Center will offer at least four new events. They include the Golf project organized together with Go and Sportlife; the Styl/Kabo event in February will now feature the Cosmetics presentation and the Clutex show of technological fabrics. Both MSV and Invex have attracted about 100,000 visitors, and more exhibitors than in previous years. Last years, the biggest turnover is that of Top Technology, covering fields not featured in the engineering fairs. Invex was expanded, and there was a new fair of biotechnological businesses Biotec 2006.
Then there is, for example, the expert-focused HospiMedica Fair, following up on the medical fairs Mefa and Rehaprotex, and the above mentioned Biotec. The latter was attended by over 2,000 scientists and researchers from dozens of countries.
The civic association Comenius, the organizer of the prestigious contest “Czech 100 Best”, has announced the results of the contest for 2007. With the 9th place, Trade Fairs Brno belongs to the major league of businesses all over the Czech Republic.
The recent achievements of the company are results of a thoroughly implemented business strategy. Trade Fairs Brno is the most important trade fair company in the Central Europe, and the Brno Exhibition Center is a successful showcase of the Czech export in all major fields of business. That’s why Brno is now perceived as the Central European fair trade center.
